Known issues:
1)Free time events are in Korean minus some exceptions.
(Chapter 2 and 3 has some of Kanata's Free Time events, Chapter 4 has Satsuki's Free Time Events, Chapter 5 has "???"'s free time events)
2) Enviromental objects are in Korean (at least 70% of them)
3)Typos and weird wordings during gameplay.

2) Download the "EasyRpg" program, open it and select "Your DRA folder name"

Every time I try extracting the RAR file, I get an error telling me, "Failed to open file. File corrupted or other error occurred." This applies to both downloads, and I made sure to put them in folders by themselves. Do you have any suggestions? I'm doing this on Android if that helps.

I found the solution. You need to download an app called RAR (the Android version of WinRAR), which will allow you to extract the file. Then, compress all of the extracted files into a ZIP, which you can do without the app. Put the ZIP in the EasyRPG app's game directory, and you'll be able to play.

Whenever I try and extract the folder, it comes up with an unknown error, I've already installed and ran chapter 1, and I'm extracting the folder in the same folder where I'm storing easyrpg and chapter 1
Hello, please don't mix the same builds into one, it will produce bugs inside the game. It's best to do this in a separate folder.
sorry this might be a dumb question but is it possible to play this on a chromebook?
I have no idea, but I'm certain Windows works fine, Linux has some workarounds.
I have a problem with the newest version which is that the menu keys for the monopad do not work, I don't know if I changed the configuration or it is an error or idk
I wanted to ask, are you playing it on PC or emulator? The keys for PC should be arrow keys as usual.
I tried entering into the Bathhouse cutscene in chapter 2, but it never lets me in. Is this something that's RNG-Dependant or it's been removed? I've seen it on Weeby Newz's stream
Do you mean the secret scene in chapter 2? you need an specific item that you can get at the beginning of the investigation of the 2nd floor. Just try the monomono machine until you get it and the scene will appear

hii okay so im having a small issue with downloading chapters 2-6. when i try to download, it downloads with firefox, and then clicking on it when it finishes downloding leads to a white screen asking what application to choose to assist in opening, and downloads it again and opens more white tab. im not sure how to fix this problem.

I'm playing chapter 2 and can't help but notice some descriptions for certain events and interactions don't come up as English but rather in the original language, is this unavoidable?

idk if u reply to stuff here anymore but, hello, after chapter 4 when yamato is introduced and mikako has her brain thingy and she starts bleeding, the text box disappears and its just white text with nothing behind it. it doesnt last long because after the second meetup in reis room, the text box is back to normal except its in the middle of the screen, and you walk really slowly and you cant save... help plz thx!
Hey there, I'm not the guy you're looking for, but I had a similar problem to you just today. I tried finding ways to fix it, but so far the only thing that worked was to use the new game option to skip to ch 5. I haven't gotten farther than the room, but I was able to move at a normal speed, save the game, and see the text box background again at least, so hopefully the bug is fixed. It doesn't look like from the comment bug reports that the new game skip option was intended for this, but it's a solution (and I could just be plain wrong and it actually is). Hope this helps.

Hello, Im having a issue with the chapter 2-6 download where the download isnt a file and is downloaded in a form of a text file. What can i do to fix this? I downloaded the player as well and everything worked fine there. Is there anything i can do to make it a like make it a folder and not like a text file like DR another chapter 1 download? thank and thanks for even translating and making it possible to even play the game
Hello! , did you install winrar as well? Depending on your OS, you need a zip extractor to change the "text" format when you download files with ".zip"

i would recommend winrar or 7zip since it's the most used in windows and they're free to use.
Found an interesting bug in chapter 5, went into the dorm room on the first free time, went to leave and it warped to chapter 2
Juuuust when I thought I was gonna finish this game.
I am gonna try to talk about this bug while avoiding spoilers.
Turns out I reeeeaaally shouldn't have bought one of the students' abilities before the final trial.
That makes one of the non-stop debate sessions impossible on my side for some reason.
This student's ability is to remove the delay of scanning orange texts, but in the final trial, there is a part where players are required to scan thrice. The first scan worked fine, but after that I can't scan texts anymore no matter how much I spam "X".
I replayed again to make sure. The same issue happened.
I have overwritten too many save files... Might need to go very far back just to complete the game...

You actually can complete that debate while you have that ability. The location your crosshairs need to be in is just a bit finicky. For me, I had to aim just above the orange word.
hi i just finished the demo and want to play more so i downloaded easyrpg and tried opening the story build but when i do it says no games found and i tried extracting i did pretty much everything but the same error is coming up if you could please tell me what i'm doing wrong i'd appreciate it is this not compatable if not can i have a compatable version
All you need is to put EasyRPG inside the folder where you downloaded this game and it should open directly.
Hello there again! It's your friendly Paladin of Justice, Azrael! I finished Danganronpa Another 1 the other day on stream, but it seems I am having some issues with the second game. I can get the game to load through the folder setup, but for some reason I can't get it to load in EasyRPG, which is how I was playing the first one. I was wondering if there was a way to rectify that and play it through EasyRPG.
For more context, whenever I try to load it as I've done with SDRA1, it takes me to a list of the other stuff in the folder for SDRA2, but not the game. Additionally, I can't capture SDRA2 with either a game or a window capture in Streamlabs; I have to use a display capture and it only captures it as a small window. So if there is any easy way to fix this, I would be most appreciative.
EasyRpg is a program only suitable to work with RPG2K games. Not RPG VX ACE games. To play SDRA2 just open the executable and it should be simple enough to play. I should also mention this blog is mainly for DRA so I don't work with SDRA2 to help with all the issues you may present but I hope this helps you.

Actually never mind. I think I found a fix already, but I'd still like to know where I can go for help with any problems I have in SDRA2!

Hello, i recommend trying to use EasyRpg that you can download in the above links. Put that program inside your danganronpa another folder and execute it.
hi i hope this isn't a stupid question, i'm having trouble finding save files, in game it says they can be accessed through a certain pannel but i'm not sure where it is, help would be much appreciated <33 great work translating a game btw
Ah hello, sorry for the late answer. You may figured it out but that was only for the prologue where you can save using the canvas above the students. To normally save is using X or ESC and selecting save in the menu.
I deleted the save file by accident and now I have to redo the prologue ;-; I know its my fault but I'm still sad
Yikes, just a small help, pressing F while reading text makes it go faster.
loving it so far, but having an issue in the chapter 2 spot selection - the picture fails to load, which makes it a tad challenging to pick out the inconsistency, any recommendations?
The picture doesn't load? can you share a screenshot of the issue? It may be that the picture is bugged but I want to make sure just in case.

Hello, after you put the chapter 4 bypass , just try new game and the bypass option should show in your screen after Linuj's logo.
Okay, so now I have a brand new problem. I just finished Chapter 4 earlier of DRA1 and Chapter 5 isn't loading. It just sends me back to the main menu whenever I try to load the file.

I have a problem with the Chapter 4 flash anagram. I have clicked on every letter that pops up, even the answer I KNOW it is, and it is still telling me that my answer is incorrect. I can't even get the first correct letters in and I am not sure what to do. I looked online and it seems that the most issues come from chapter 4, but no fixes on the flash anagram.
Update: I simply restarted the trial NOT FROM THE BEGINNING, BUT FROM THE HALFWAY POINT I SAVED AT(The Suspended Trial screen) and it worked perfectly. Please use this method if you run into the same problem.

Make sure to extract with Korean configuration on winrar (Ctrl+E), it's possible the game's images have been re-written as weird symbols after the extraction

hello, saddly there isn't, my best advice is to screenshot the truth bullets and work your way around that method. I don't recommend saving during minigames it bugs the game, you can only save during intermission or prior to trial in this case.
Hello! I am a Vtuber known as Azrael, Paladin of Justice, and I have been playing SDRA 1 on stream. I made this account to let you know that I am deeply enjoying the game. I was watching the translated streams for both games before playing them myself, so I'm kind of spoiled on everything, but I am a MASSIVE fan of what I've seen. I would even go as far as to say that I believe these fangames could be considered more canon than the actual story of Danganronpa that we got. Both games tie so neatly into the canon story, that I genuinely forgot I was watching a fangame.
My favorite characters are Tsurugi Kinjo, Akane Taira, Syobai, Nikei Yomiuri, Rei Mekaru, Satsuki Iranami, Kanade Otonokoji, and Mikado Sannonji. Sora was cool too, but I have mixed feelings after the Tower of Babel case for OBVIOUS REASONS THAT ARE TOTALLY SPOILERS!
Also, I believe in Sora/Yoruko supremacy.

Now that I finished the chapter 1 demo, is there a way to import my free time event data to the 2-6 build?
Hello, you can transfer your save data from your folder into the the ch2-6 build, remember to not mix both build only the save file, also Free Time Events are not translated except for a few mentioned above in the post.
when i try to open RTP2000.exe, it says "Cannot open archive!". is there a fix to this? i already installed everything beforehand
make sure to either change region to Korean or use locale emulator and open it with the program (its free to download)
Question about the chapter 4 bypass fix. Is there a way to salvage the gifts and skills from your regular save file going into chapter 5? Or am I forced to start with nothing again? I'm more concerned about the skills I got through free time events, since the 500 Monocoins given will likely makeup for the rest.
Well, the 500 monocoins pretty much give you all skills you can obtain currently mainly for the class trial. There's no other way to salvage any previous items you gathered but during chapter 6 you can obtain all of the skills on the final memento machine before the trial.
